The annual 4th of July celebration in East Grand Rapids is taking place on Wednesday, July 4th, 2012.
The 4th of July Celebration begins with a community parade through the streets of the town, continues throughout the day with family-oriented activities in and around Collins Park and ends with a spectacular fireworks show over Reeds Lake at dusk. Childrens activities, games, food vendors, music and shows are all part of this community celebration of the nations independence.
Each year’s event is unique as different activities are added. Complete information is usually available by mid-June. You can download the schedule from this site (we will post it when it becomes available) or contact the Parks & Recreation office at 949-1750. Please mark your calendars to come and join the fun!
